Students at partner schools apply for the First Fellows program during the fall of their senior year. Applicants are notified if they are accepted by the end of October ahead of Early Decision deadlines.

First Fellow Applicant Guidelines:

• Students who have shown success or drive in and out of school (3.5+ weighted GPA required to apply)

• Attend a public/charter school in Boston or be active in a First Fellows partner community organization

• First generation of their family to attend college (older siblings who are either in college or college graduates do not disqualify an applicant)

• Pell Eligible or have a family adjusted gross income under $150,000

• Parents do not own real estate

• Have a #1 college preference and be interested in applying Early Decision (award is not contingent on being accepted ED)​​

• Complete FAFSA, CSS Profile, or a specific College's Financial Aid Calculator before submitting application
