Students at partner schools/organizations apply for the First Fellows program during the fall of their senior year. ​

While it is not required, preference will be given to applicants who are interested in applying to a college for Early Decision. It is important (and part of the application for First Fellows) for any student considering Early Decision to utilize Net Price Calculators to get an understanding of their potential aid package at different colleges/universities.

First Fellow Applicant Guidelines:

• Students who have shown success or drive in and out of school (3.5+ weighted GPA required to apply)

• Be active in a First Fellows partner community organization

• First generation of their family to graduate a four year college (older siblings who are either in college or college graduates do not disqualify an applicant)

• Pell Eligible or have a family adjusted gross income under $150,000

• Parents do not own real estate

• Have a #1 college preference and be interested in applying Early Decision (award is not contingent on being accepted ED)​​

• Complete FAFSA, CSS Profile, or a specific College's Financial Aid Calculator before submitting application
